Due to the length of this study I will be doing it over the next two weeks you can find the study on my web site after each session is completed. I will be asking Ascher to create a link from the room’s site directly to each study.
Things we will cover
1. God made man with a purpose in mind.
2. God has plans for all people
3. Jesus has restored man so he can find his destiny
4. What your destiny is
5. What your destiny is not.
You have a destiny:
Psalms 139:13 -- For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
Psalms 139:14 -- I will praise thee; for I am
fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy
works;
and that my soul knoweth right
well.
Psalms 139:15 -- My substance was not hid from
thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously
wrought
in the lowest parts of the
earth.
Psalms 139:16 -- Thine eyes did see my substance,
yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members
were written, which in
continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of
them.
Destiny - The state or condition appointed or predetermined; ultimate fate.
Consider these thoughts on man having a destiny:
I. God's plan for man
A. The making of man
God made man with a Spirit, Soul, and Body
Man had a rule - Genesis 1:26 - destiny.
Genesis 1:26 -- And God said, Let us make
man in our image, after our likeness: and let
them have dominion over
the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over the cattle,
and over all the earth, and over every creeping
thing
that creepeth upon the
earth.
B. The fall of man - Genesis 3:1-7
Can anyone tell us what eves first mistake
was?
She misquoted the
command God had given concerning the fruit of the tree of life.
Genesis 2:17
Genesis 2:17 -- But of the tree of
knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat it: for in the
day
that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:1 -- Now the serpent was more
subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD
God had made. And he
said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall
not
eat of every tree of
the garden?
Genesis 3:2 -- And the woman said unto
the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the
garden:
Genesis 3:3 -- But of the fruit of the
tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath
said,
Ye shall not eat of it,
neither shall ye touch it, lest ye
die.
Genesis 3:4 -- And the serpent said unto
the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Genesis 3:5 -- For God doth know that in
the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be
opened,
and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.
Genesis 3:6 -- And when the woman
saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was
pleasant
to the eyes, and a tree
to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit
thereof,
and did eat, and gave
also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Genesis 3:7 -- And the eyes of them both
were opened, and they knew that they were naked;
and they sewed fig leaves
together, and made themselves aprons.
What happened to his spirit, Soul, Body?
Satan took man's domain - Luke 4:6 - destiny
stolen.
*Luke 4:6 -- And the devil said unto him, All this power
will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is
delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
C. Jesus came to deliver Man
What Jesus came to do for man’s Spirit, Soul,
and Body
Hebrews 2:14
Hebrews 2:14 -- Forasmuch then as the
children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself
likewise took part of
the same; that through death he might destroy him that
had
the power of death,
that is, the devil;
Jesus overcame the devil and took the power of death
from him.

delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us
into the
kingdom of his
dear Son

turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of
Satan
unto God, that they may
receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them
which
are sanctified by faith
that is in me
We are sanctified by faith in Jesus
Thus: Luke 4:18-19
Luke 4:18 -- The Spirit of the Lord is upon
me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to
the
poor; he hath sent me to heal
the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives,
and recovering of sight to
the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luke 4:19 -- To preach the acceptable year
of the Lord.
Jesus has come to set us Free
Therefore, the resurrection of Christ is the most important event in all of History!

returned- Jesus Lives forevermore and holds the keys to
death.

last:
Revelation 1:18 -- I am he that liveth, and
was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore,
Amen; and have the
keys of hell and of death.
